·These Sentence Types posters are linked closely to the requirements for Writing at KS1 and KS2 – and the year group grammar requirements. in the English Appendix 2. To achieve the standard at the end of each key stage it is vital that children have control over and are able to use these sentence types.  I recommend that they are included as appropriate in teaching sequences.  There are 49 posters and are provided here in a poster format for use in teaching and classroom displays with each year group bordered with a different colour. The sentence types are referred to in the Writing Target and Assessment sheets at WTS/EXS/GD available in the store.
